Stony Brook University's Undergraduate Astronomy Club is a group of undergraduate students who are dedicated to increasing their understanding of the universe in which we live. We are especially interested in educating the public on astronomy, physics, and science in general. Our active body varies between 30 and 40 members, including our executive board. Each semester, we take off-campus trips, hold outreach events, and observe with our .3 m telescope if the weather permits. You can check out some of our recent activities here.

Interested in the club? Our Fall 2016 meeting day/time is Tuesdays at 7:30 pm in room 450 of the ESS building. You do not need any prior knowledge in astronomy or physics to attend the meetings; all you need is an interest in astronomy!
